My client is a specialist electronics manufacturing company based in Leicestershire. Due to expansion they now require a Rework Technician to join the team.
The role of Rework Technician:
Operating various types of solder/rework equipment such as soldering irons and soldering tweezers
Rework and repairing PCB's by hand or with production hand tools
Rework/modify surface mount and plate through hole assemblies as per requirements
Complete modifications, wire links, track and pad repairs
Inspecting completed assemblies as detailed to IPC standardsThe right Rework Technician:
IPC-610 trained or industry knowledge
Attention to detail
Clear and logical approach to problem solving
Keen eye for detail as this role requires you working with very small parts
Good colour recognition
Ability to work whilst using magnification equipment
