Warehouse Manager

Recruitment Pro are currently seeking an experienced and hands on Warehouse Manager for a food manufacturing business in Wakefield.
This role is initially for an 18 month period but this could be extended.
Duties would include but not be limited to;
Duties include:
- The motivation and engagement of staff
- Day to day management of Warehouse Operations and procedures
- Effectively plan all resourcing to ensure sufficient resource is available
- Inventory management/stock control
- Experience of Managing budgets, KPI's and SLA's
- To manage Health and Safety within the warehouse and deliver relevant training
- Timely recruitment and selection of agency and permanent operatives
- To manage the process for ensuring compliance on internal and external audits
What you need to apply:
- Experience of managing warehouse operations
- Experience of working within a FMCG or Logistics based background
- Proven track record in leading a team, with the ability to inspire and develop teams
- The ability to support your team when required, at times adopting a hands-on approach.
- An understanding of Lean and 6 Sigma
The hours for this role are 8:30am till 17:00pm Monday to Friday with a basic salary of up to GBP55k DOE
This role is for an immediate start.
