Who are we looking for?
We are actively looking to recruit a facilities assistant to join our team based in the Mendip depot (Shepton mallet). Working as a Facilities Assistant you will be jointly responsible for the operational support in relation to facilities, helpdesk, caretaking, payroll, finance and all aspects of contract administration.

Are you who we are looking for?
* Answering the telephone in a courteous and timely manner
* Ensuring that all visitors and contractors are treated in a pleasant, courteous and efficient manner and provide refreshments as and when required.
* Administration support for the contract/office team; including producing letters, compiling reports, assisting with customer enquiries
* Using the purchase order system, raising orders, inputting delivery notes and dealing with accounts queries.
* Help to ensure that accounts month end deadlines are met
* Raise invoice input forms to send to accounts
* Check payment certificates/recharges from the client to ensure payment will be received for all completed works
* Collation of meter readings, water temperatures and emergency lighting records
* Planning and setting out of meeting rooms
* Carry out weekly fire alarm tests
* Attend to minor maintenance tasks: i.e. replace light bulbs
* Opening and closing of site including activating and deactivating alarms
* IT literate
* An SIA door supervisor & or CCTV licence is desirable but not essential
