Manufacturing Engineer
GBP28,000 - GBP40,000 per annum + Excellent benefits package + Leading holiday entitlement
Monday to Thursday, 7:30am - 4:00pm and Fridays, 7:30am - 12:00pm

Are you a Manufacturing Engineer looking to join a company that specialises in manufacturing a range of bespoke products for some of the most highly regulated engineering sectors? Would you like to work for a company at the forefront of their industry and implement manufacturing techniques and processes in a state of the art facility in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne?
Due to the continued growth of the business and the securing of new contracts, my client is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team and assist in the delivery of bespoke fabrications for the defence, rail, oil and gas sectors.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the translation of customer requirements and specifications into ERP routings and manufacturing plans, fulfilling customer quality and technical specifications in the most cost effective manner, and in accordance with REL policies and procedures. You will develop, evaluate and improve manufacturing methods, utilising knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication and machining processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.

*Follow the manufacturing process from the design through to production
*Reading drawings to ensure products meet client needs
*Liaising with office staff, engineers and customers
The Candidate:
*HNC or HND manufacturing qualification
*Background in Welding, Machine operation, Painting, etc.
*High quality communication skills with customers and colleagues
