IT Sales Administrator (Apprenticeship)

RSVP Resourcing are delighted to be supporting a highly successful, dynamic and expanding IT Consultancy and Support Business based in central Edinburgh.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed, hardworking self-starter to join its extremely busy Sales Team where you will support the day-to-day sales function. This role would be particularly suited to a recent college/school leaver.

As this is an Apprenticeship role it is a great opportunity to earn while you learn: not only will you receive continued training from the company but you will also be supported through a work-based Digital Applications Apprenticeship by Elite Training where you will gain an industry-recognized qualification.

For the right candidate on completion of your Apprenticeship, this could become a permanent role within this exciting, growing business.

Your role will include the following:

• Preparation of electronic quotations

• Communicate with suppliers regarding stock, pricing, orders etc

• Place and track orders

• Keep customers updated on the process by phone and by email

• Keep all sales records up to date

The person:

• Looking to commence on the career ladder

• Minimum Nat 5 in Maths and English

• Competent with IT packages e.g MOS

• An interest in all things IT

• Able to work under pressure

• Excellent communication skills

• Able to prioritise workloads and work under pressure
