Murray Recruitment have a permanent opportunity for an Electrician based in Edinburgh/ East/ Central Scotland.
Working within the Projects Team you will be responsible for testing, inspection and commissioning of electrical building services installations.
Responsibilities
* Carry out electrical installation tasks as directed by site supervision teams
* Installing containment systems, data systems, Fire and Security Systems, Lightening systems.
* Working on industrial and commercial projects from distilleries, schools and offices- sites are based in Leven/Dundee/Edinburgh and Falkirk
* Adherence to set engineering standards in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) requirements.
* To ensure quality installation standards are met.
* To respond in a prompt and effective manner to all electrically related job requirements on the project.
* Assist other trades as necessary.
* To comply with security protocol within the site environment
* To remain focussed on delivery of the project to the satisfaction of the client
* To be committed to working in integrated mechanical and electrical teams
Experience/Qualifications
* Experienced in electrical installation work, plus electrical testing and inspection.
* Current (in date) SJIB Approved Electrician ECS Grade Card.
* City & Guilds Parts 1 and 2 (Electrical Installation 2360) or recognised equivalent.
* 18th Edition Institute of Electrical Engineers (I.E.E) Registration or recognised equivalent.
Package
* Up to GBP34, 515
* Ideally you will have your own transport (you may be based on the one site for up to 12months)
* Travel time paid 22p per mile
* Phone
* Hours: Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 4pm and Friday 7:30am -1pm
* Overtime available
* Holidays 20 + 8
