My client is a very successful family-owned business with Branches throughout the country
They are now looking to recruit a Branch Sales Manager, on a full time, permanent basis for their site in Leicester
The successful candidate will possess the ability to motivate, manage and apply themselves to an immediate and long-term plan to seek out, cultivate and increase new business. They will promote the company's wide product offerings, develop new and existing customer relationships by adopting a proactive out-and-about approach in the surrounding areas. They will oversee the Branch's customer ledger and see it is well maintained with regular attention to dormant and deteriorating levels of spend
The role will involve:
* Finding, securing, and sustaining new customer business
* Investigation and identification of the surrounding area's full business potential
* Maintaining existing customer relationships
* Organising and delegating management of the branch ledger
* Promoting the brand and their full product offering
* Feeding back leads, enquiries and sales to the internal sales team
* Communicating the current business climate to the sales team
Primary Responsibilities
* Regular out-of-branch field-based activity seeking new business
* Development of both new & existing business relationships.
* Communicating and supporting the key accounts manager
* Liaise with other areas of the business as required to ensure a smooth service is provided to the clients.
* Supporting the Branch and Assistant Manager with overall responsibility of the business drive.
In order to apply, you must possess the following:
* Experience within a timber or building materials environment
* Sales experience - Field Sales / Sales team or Counter Sales
* Knowledge of surrounding areas
* K Driving License
