Our client is a leading global provider of facility services, providing services to complement their customer s workplace. Due to their expanding team We are recruiting for an experienced and dedicated AC Engineer with a working history in PPM and reactive maintenance. The role is a permanent position working on a corporate and commercial facilities in the Cheshire area.
The position requires an AC engineer that can complete maintenance operations to a high standard. This is an excellent career opportunity for an experienced AC Engineer with a salary paying up to GBP42,000 per Annum.
The successful AC Engineer key responsibilities will be:
Assist the Building Services Supervisor by taking the Lead with Mechanical team, including Permit to Work and Optima Critical Process.
To work in partnership with the campus facilities team in delivering a best-in-class workplace environment.
Adherence to set engineering standards in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) requirements and Safe systems of work SSOW
To ensure onsite Quality Assurance procedures are adhered to in all respects and to maintain accurate records and update documentation as directed.
To deputise for Building Services Supervisor as and when required in case of absence or for training purposes
To attend site meetings as required in relation to both BAU, and Projects.
To provide reports in relation to work and equipment as required.
To undertake training, review & assessment including such training as necessary to maintain standards and advancement to a higher grade.
Enforce and always maintain the Governance set out in the OPTIMA Critical manual and promote embedment.
AC Engineer professional and personal competencies/qualifications
Qualified in a Mechanical Engineering discipline Refrigeration or Gas
Solid Understanding of Safe Systems of Work.
Good Understanding of Project Management Principles
Experience in a business and critical setting
Good written, IT and verbal communication skills
Have a natural positive can-do attitude, and forward-thinking problem-solver
Keen to learn and develop and share knowledge with others
Emergency First Aid at Work
