Dovetail Recruitment are pleased to be recruiting for a leading IT solutions provider within the education sector located in Bournemouth. They are recruiting for an IT Support Engineer to join the team, where the successful applicant will provide high-quality IT support to students, and staff in a timely manner. This IT Support Engineer will be involved with keeping up to date with changes in the industry, as well as troubleshooting, maintaining, and deploying hardware and software systems.
Duties and Responsibilities of the IT Support Engineer:
* Providing efficient and high-quality support to staff and students
* Working to ensure that the IT systems are running in an effective, efficient, and secure manner
* Keeping up with updates and changes in the industry
* Help staff use the schools IT facilities as efficiently as possible and as required to ensure the delivery of the curriculum
* Maintenance and management of computers and on-premises / cloud-based server infrastructure
* Monitoring of key systems
* Following updates and creating high-quality documentation in line with that which already exists.
Skills and Experience:
* Excellent communicator
* Highly proactive and self-motivated
* Strong organisational skills
* Desktop / Laptop PC support
* Windows Server support
* Office 365
* Anti-Virus software support
Salary and Benefits:
* A salary of circa GBP25,000 per annum
* Working Monday to Friday 8.00 am - 5.00pm with reduced hours in the summer holiday period
* Free on-site parking
* Learning and development opportunities
