QA Test Lead
Opportunity for an experienced QA Test Lead to play a key role in the software team ensuring the quality of software meets all the functional requirements and standards. It's an Agile environment that require close collaboration with the wider development team, any experience of acting as Scrum Master would be great but is not essential.
We are looking for you to share your knowledge and experience to mentor, train and develop those around you as well co ordinating and prioritising the workload. As an Agile QA Test Lead you will also be actively involved in the development, planning and execution of test cases and workflow scenarios
Key responsibilities of the Agile QA Test Lead:
* Development and execution of test cases and workflow scenarios
* Collaborating with other software testers and implementation staff to facilitate the testing of software
* Mentor, train and develop test analysts to improve test practices and processes, leading by example
* Creation and maintenance of suitable test environments for all software testing to take place
* Testing of interfaces and integration with other modules, products or interface test harnesses
* Working with Cloud hosted environments
* Perform static testing and impact assessment of Design and Change Request documentation
* Assist with the population and maintenance of automated testing
* Assist the Support team in investigating and resolving problems with software
Key criteria for the Agile QA Test Lead:
* ISEB Foundation/ISTQB qualification in Software Testing
* Experience of working with other Software Testers and QA analysts in an agile software development environment
* Ability to organise, co-ordinate and prioritise personal and team day to day workload
* Ability to coach junior members of the team and positively influence fellow team members
* Understanding of software testing techniques and QA processes
* Experience diagnosing, reporting, tracking and resolving software quality issues
* Experience developing test cases
* Knowledge of Postman, Swagger, or similar API testing and documentation tools
