Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Our client is a well run and busy company whom are looking for a Assistant/Project Quantity Surveyor to join their busy team.

This role would suit some body looking for a long term career opportunity and looking to make a day to day impact on the business from day one. Sectors worked in include new build and fit out construction projects in the residential, commercial and retail sectors.

Key responsibilities

Assisting Senior Quantity Surveyor
Produce valuations and payment applications
It is essential to have the knowledge and confidence to be able to take site measurements predominantly, unsupervised.
Identify changes to works information
Costing variations
Understanding of quality control, material scheduling etc
Subcontract account management
Cost reporting
