1st line support/2nd line Support Engineer

Due to amazing growth within the business - my client is looking for a 1st/2nd line support to join their friendly but hardworking environment.
Your new role
- Providing 1st/2nd line technical support, answering support queries via the ticketing system, email and telephone.
- Primarily supporting customers remotely but occasionally working at the customer's premises when required.
- Respond to requests for technical assistance and service requests, resolve issues and keep customers informed of progress.
- Carry out client system checks, and report to managers where necessary.
- Continue to develop skills and knowledge relevant to the supported systems.
- Carry out instructions given by managers in line with business requirements.
What you'll need to succeed
- Evidence of experience working as part of a team in a Service Desk environment, using relevant support tools with a strong customer focus.
- The ability to think logically, meet deadlines and effectively prioritise the workload according to the needs of the customers and SLAs.
- Excellent communication skills combined with the ability to interact confidently with customers to establish the problem and explain the solution to a non-technical audience.
- Windows 10.
- Windows Server (2012/2016/2019).
- Active Directory & Group Policy Management.
- Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Managing Office 365/Azure.
- Basic Network understanding/troubleshooting - DNS, DHCP, IP routing.
- Experience providing hardware support and setting up Desktops, Laptops & Mobiles.
