Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a Graduate Teaching Assistant to work in a secondary school within at a Hull Secondary Academy. This role will commence in September 2022 and be ongoing until July 2023. This role can provide the successul graduate with perfect opportunity to begin their career in education.

The role
Working closely with department heads and senior leaders, the successful Graduate Teaching Assistants, could fulfill a number support duties with the school. They will be responsible for providing targeted support and interventions pupils in Keystage 3 and at GCSE level. The successful applicant will play a vital role in 'narrowing the gap' following the COVID pandemic. This role will provde the candidate with the ideal opportunity to gain paid experience working in schools prior to teacher training. We would particuarlarly welcome applications from aspiring secondary school teachers.

Vision For Education are working with the number of secondary schools in the Beverley and East Riding areas that are seeking to appoint graduates to work as Teaching Assistants, Learning Mentors, Tutors and Cover Supervisors.

Requirements
To be considered for the Graduate Teaching Assistant position, you will:

Hold minimum GCSE qualifications in English & Maths, A-levels and a Degree
Have experience of working with young people
Have a genuine interest in Education, you may be considering training to teach in the future
A desire to make a difference in the lives of young people
Be outgoing, empathetic and personable.
