Randstad C&P division are currently hiring for a Sous Chef on the behalf of our national facilities management client who have a static site based in Leachkin, Inverness. The successful candidate will have experience in a role where they can develop the overall quality of beautifully tasting food within a fast paced catering environment.

The package:

Competitive salary between GBP24,000 - GBP26,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Core hours Monday to Friday (40 hour week)

Training and development coursesDuties & responsibilities:

Supporting the Head Chef to maintain the existing and exceed quality standards of the services provided to the end client.
Use your experience to ensure the running of the catering function is running smoothly and to SLA agreements.
Maintaining a good knowledge of Health & Safety experience.
Overseeing the standard and quality of all food and drink - ensuring that everything leaving the kitchen is to spec and of excellent standards.
Providing support to the financial aspect of the contract by using cost saving initiatives and growth of sales.
Managing labour on site.The person:

Equivalent cookery qualification is highly desired but not essential
Leadership skills with core competencies around kitchen and service excellence, delivering a vision, personable leadership and team engagement
