Infrastructure Analyst

Northwich/Remote (3 days on site/2 days home)

An IT Infrastructure Analyst is required for our financial client who are based in Northwich. This role will report to the Infrastructure and Helpdesk Manager.

Responsibilities

. Serving as up to third level of contact for complex end-user support issues, server support, networking issues and infrastructure maintenance.
. Serving as a technical expert to less experienced staff.
. Participate in infrastructure or technical projects as well as helping the Infrastructure and Helpdesk Manager in the day to day running of the IT team and systems.
. Updating documentation when required.
. Work with colleagues within the Infrastructure team and the Development team

Essential Experience

. Linux Operating Systems (Oracle Linux, Redhat) setup and administration/maintenance
. Networking TCP/IP fundamentals including routing and VLANs in a multi-site organisation.

Beneficial Experience

. VMware
. Desktop Operating Systems Windows 10
. Oracle WebLogic

The role will involve working on a shift rota basis to cover business as usual activities undertaken by the IT team. This pattern will require the individual to operate between 8:30 - 19:00. Once trained, the individual will cover IT end of day duties and will be on call on a rota basis.
