Are you an experienced Lead Application Analyst preferably with experience in Agresso Unit 4 ERP Business World or a similar ERP system who has is for a new and exciting opportunity to join a business who are on a digital journey, investing in cutting edge technology? Job Purpose:
To be responsible for the management, maintenance, and support of a number of specific business applications, and management of relevant application vendors and suppliers.
Principal Accountabilities:
* Provide an application support and management service for designated university business systems and ensure the required performance and availability of these systems.
* Ensure effective service transition into operation of new applications or changes to existing applications, whether as part of a project or minor upgrade, by ensuring appropriate testing, release management, 3rd party contracts and application maintenance support processes are in place.
* Manage application suppliers and vendors of designated applications through effective performance management. Work closely with the university Procurement Department to ensure that Anglia Ruskin drives best value for money and continuing improvement from its contractual terms with application vendors. Develop and maintain operational supplier relationships.
* Ensure any support requirements the team are responsible for are resolved at appropriate priority in accordance with agreed service levels including management of 3rd party suppliers in the resolution of incidents and forwarding internal issues to 3rd line support as appropriate.
* Carry out system administration/configuration tasks as required. Respond to and deliver standard service requests within agreed service levels.
* Work with IT infrastructure colleagues and suppliers to manage application environments and in consultation with application owners', work with suppliers in delivering patches/upgrades and commission systems enhancements.
* Build a strong and effective customer focused team and provide leadership that models the university's values, motivates staff, promotes performance improvement and enables IT Services to deliver excellence.
Candidate Requirements
*
Previous experience in Agresso unit 4 ERP Business World or similar is preferable for the role
*
Experience of Higher Education business information systems such as Finance, HR, Estates & Facilities or Access Control
*
Experience of application supplier management
*
Experience of application procurement and evaluation
*
Significant experience managing and supporting business applications
*
Experience of working with large database systems
*
Experience of application supplier management
*
Providing software and systems support to end users
Salary: GBP40k - GBP50k
