Helios Solar Operations & Maintenance are one of the UK's leading solar panel cleaning & maintenance businesses and are currently looking for a hardworking and ambitious individual to join our respected team.

The role involves cleaning rooftop solar panels from either a cherry picker or by working on flat roofs. So a head for heights is a must together with a healthy fear of heights. Don't worry, full training will be provided.

Helios are one of only two independent companies in the UK that use a specially designed solar panel cleaning robot to clean solar panels so much of the hard work is done for you. However, the odd clean using a brush will be required from time to time as well as moving equipment around customer premises, so a degree of fitness is required, as well as the need to frequently work away from home.

We're a relatively new business - with big ambitions. We've just helped to write the UK's first ever Best Practice Guidelines for rooftop solar maintenance and we're close to getting agreement from the insurance industry for these guidelines which means that soon, every rooftop solar system will need to be maintained annually to comply with insurance requirements.

What this means for you is that you'll be part of a new company, with guaranteed income, in a growing marketplace. What goals do you have that we can help you to achieve?

In return for your hard work, you'll be paid a salary of GBP35,000 per annum initially, with performance related bonuses of GBP5,000 per annum and entry in to a staff profit share scheme after a qualifying period.

10% of company profits will be paid to staff at the end of the financial year (just in time for Christmas)!
