Systems Support and application developer permanent opportunity based in Southampton, Hampshire - working onsite
Working for a global Engineering organisation, this position will be responsible for the development and support of IT business systems to meet operational requirements. The role will focus on the development of MES applications and internal custom developments.
The successful candidate will ideally be qualified to degree level with good knowledge and experience of developing Intranet based mobile and desktop environments.
Key skills to include:
- MS Visual Studio
- MS SQL Server + SSRS Reporting
- ASP.NET Core 3.1/5
- C#, Javascript
- Bootstrap 3/4/5
- MVC
Desirable skills to include:
- MS IIS Server
- WebForms
- Blazor, KnockoutJS
- Bartender Label Software
In addition, you will have good commercial awareness, excellent analytical skills together with a logical approach to problem solving.
Key responsibilities will include:
. Assisting with daily business support activities for UK sites as required
. Providing training and support to the users
