Can you lead a successful Income Recovery Team?
Do you have experience of income or debt recovery and are now seeking the next step in your career? If you are looking for a career move whereby you can lead a successful income recovery team then our client may have the role for you.
Their income team are now looking for an inspiring manager to lead, motivate and deliver excellent performance. You may have managed teams before and your results speak for themselves with you having an ability to talk passionately about them. You enjoy developing others and improving their performance too.
In this role you will collaborate directly with the Head of Income Services, you will contribute to the overall operation of the Longhurst group, our operational plans for income, and help to minimise arrears and debt.
You will directly add value through your work by:
· Leading, managing and motivating the income recovery teams to provide an effective service that minimises risk to the Group’s income streams.
· Ensuring policies and procedures are embedded across the team, and support team members at key decision points within the Group’s income recovery processes.
· Developing a culture of performance and continuous improvement within the team and a rent first culture with tenants and other colleagues across the Group. Work with colleagues in other teams/departments as necessary to further the understanding of rent first and the importance of income to the Group.
· Setting targets at both team and individual level and manage performance through monitoring and implementation of the performance framework. Develop expectations of the highest possible performance within the team and deal appropriately with under performance.
To be successful in this role you will need to be passionate about delivering strong results, keeping arrears to a minimum and worked in a similar capacity previously.
If you fit these requirements and are highly motivated, creative and pro-active, with excellent communication and organisation skills and an aptitude for managing a varied caseload we’d love to hear from you.
You will ideally have a working knowledge of Housing Law and practical application of legislation, be confident in dealing with income recovery cases as well as leading and developing a high performing team.
