Trim Shop Operative
REPORTING TO
Production Supervisor / Team Leader
OBJECTIVE
The main responsibility is to ready product for shipment to our customers which conform to the companys quality standards under ISO 9001:2015.
MAIN TASKS
1. Assembling products and parts
2. Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures
3. Collecting all material and equipment needed to begin the process
4. Align material and put together parts to build more complex units
5. Operating and maintaining machinery and production line equipment
6. Finalizing and packaging products for shipment
7. Perform repetitive tasks with precision and efficiency while maintaining line communication and general safety standards
8. Report on issues, malfunction, or defective parts
9. Work on the production line and meet production targets
10. Maintain a clean, well-organized work area
11. To work safely and follow all company safety procedures
12. Contribute to Continuous Improvement initiative
OCCASIONAL TASKS
1. In the event that there is a problem producing a satisfactory component that meets customer specifications during production both dimensionally and in appearance then contact must be made with the appropriate Supervisor and or a Quality Leader as per instructions
2. Performing other tasks as assigned
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS (in house training provided)
Manual Handling
Crane Driving and Slinging and Lifting (if required)
Forklift Truck (if required)

* Overtime paid at 1.5 Monday to Saturday

* Shift working 6-2 and 2-10, a shift allowance of GBP39.21 equivalent to GBP1.06 per hour
