Talent Acquisition Manager
Salary: GBP40k per year plus placement incentive

In addition, we need someone that can help us shape our future people strategy and deliver likeminded professionals to build on our success and take us forward. We are a busy team with many retained clients, offering bespoke search and selection services and with a hands-on senior leadership team we are looking for guidance and support from our Talent Acquisition Manager to ensure we build on our reputation as an employer of choice and continue to successfully attract, hire and retain exceptional talent.
What will the role involve?
- Regularly meetings with the Deputy MD and the CEO to continuously develop and provide updates on the company people strategy
- Engage with hiring managers to establish their recruitment needs and take the lead in role briefings to establish a job specification and person specification for each vacancy
- Where appropriate create and agree job descriptions for new roles
- Use suitable candidate attraction methods to establish a pipeline of quality candidates that fit each candidate brief and carry out initial screening interviews to provide a shortlist to the hiring managers
- Arrange subsequent interviews and provide ongoing dialogue with high potential candidates
- Where appropriate provide guidance to line managers on recruitment best practice, recommend supporting tools such as psychometric testing to provide a relevant and robust recruitment process
- Utilise marketing tools to evolve brand awareness and continue to establish MRG as an employer of choice
- Develop recruitment marketing materials in line with the brand to increase attraction and reinforce MRG as an employer of choice
- Complete all onboarding documentation including offer letter and contracts
- In conjunction with line managers create two-week induction programmes for new starters and carry out a "Day One" MRG orientation
- Carry out one-month reviews with new starters
What are we looking for?
- A minimum of three years as an internal recruitment consultant, as a recruiter looking to diversify or a HR professional looking for a new challenge, with ideally some experience of international recruitment
- Experience of attracting and onboarding graduate level candidates is desirable
- Previous on-boarding experience including planning, organising, and delivering induction programmes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A positive, enthusiastic and professional work approach that represents the MRG values and an individual that will present as a strong brand ambassador
- Can think strategically and is commercially astute
- Ability to influence and negotiate
- Problem solving ability
- Organised and able to work with confidentiality and impartiality
