Our client is a Scaffolding Provider who have been established since 1974 with depots in Manchester and Northampton. They aim to provide the best range of access and support to scaffold requirements. They work with companies such as Carlsberg, Brewery, AG Barr, Melton Foods, Alpro etc. They are now looking for a Business Administration Apprentice who will be supported by a small team in their Brackmills office.
Key responsibilities:
For the first 3 months:
- Answering telephones and directing callers to the correct person
- Typing quotations, letters and other required documents
- Stock control inputted onto a spreadsheet
- Archiving documents and paperwork
- Typing emails
Between months 3 and 6:
- Basic Bookkeeping (entering invoices into the invoice book and creating invoices on Word)
- Sending invoices via email/post
Month 6 onwards:
- Helping to create Social Media Content and uploading onto social media platforms
- Sales calls/emails and collecting the information onto a spreadsheet
- Keeping in contact with customers we have provided quotations for
- General customer liaison
Personal Specification
4/C or above in GCSE Maths and English, ability to prioritise, some creativity to take over the social media content, good levels of accuracy and willingness to progress within the company.
This Apprenticeship will be supported through Starting Off with 20% off-the-job training.
