Transport Supervisor - GBP26,000 to GBP28,000 - Portbury

Infinite have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Transport Team Manager who has a strong understanding in the transport sector. Our client is currently looking for someone who has previous experience within Transport Operation.

Transport Supervisor responsibilities:

• Carry out any investigation/disciplinary is completed in line with the companies legislation.
• Communicate with drivers providing information on performance, Company updates and procedures.
• Monitor and review driver's tachographs.
• Manage delivery schedules to achieve KPI targets and ensure all duties are covered.
• Provide a safe environment by adhering to H&S procedures and ensure these are understood and upheld by the team.
• Ensuring compliance of Standard Operational Procedures (SOP's) and ensuring a high level of customer focus & service is achieved.
• Monitor and ensure all drivers are making deliveries on time with regular communication with stores regarding and delays.
• Report accidents immediately and ensure all accidents are investigated thoroughly.

Transport Supervisor Requirements:

• You must have previous experience in a transport environment.
• Previous experience within FMCG highly desirable.
• Knowledge of the UK'S geographical area.
• Previous experience of using Warehouse Management systems (WMS)
• HGV license highly desirable.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook).

Salary, Shift Pattern & Benefits:

• Monday to Friday.
• Weekly rotating shifts, 05:00am - 13:00pm and 12:00am - 20:00pm.
