Finance Systems Analyst

Location - UK/Ireland (Hybrid model - minimum 1 day in the office per quarter)

The global roll-out of Oracle eBusiness Suite from our base in Europe to users in Sportsbet, Fanduel Group and Flutter International has resulted in major changes in the delivery of support, system changes and enhancements to the Global Finance teams and the business.

The FSA is key to the delivery of these services to the business. The unprecedented number of new users creates several challenges for Finance Systems and necessitates an enhanced level of support in terms of both volume and complexity.

The role requires in-depth functional knowledge across all modules of the eBusiness Suite and other peripheral applications. It also requires excellent organisation and communication skills along with the flexibility to handle both day-to-day issues and ongoing project activities.

The person must be highly analytical, have excellent attention to detail and possess very strong problem-solving capabilities. They must be a team player and work alongside colleagues to deliver on both projects and BAU via the Finance Monthly Sprint.

Key Roles and responsibilities:

• Front line end user support for the Flutter Oracle eBusiness Suite system; supporting over 2000 users across multiple time zones (from Los Angeles to Melbourne) covering the full suite of Oracle Financials modules (General Ledger, Payables, Receivables, Assets, Cash Management, iExpenses, iProcurement and Property Manager).
• Using the JIRA service desk application to monitor/resolve end-user issues, requests and queries to the highest standards and within agreed SLA's.
• Perform key roles in in the delivery of Finance System Projects, executing activities such as testing, data migration, configuration and training.
• Undertaking Master data administration of users, employees, suppliers and bank accounts
• Performance of regular month-end system tasks and processes to ensure the timely finance close across the organisation.
• Administration and support of other Finance Applications; including Hubble (for user admin and report writing), Glantus (OCR invoice scanning) and Solix (archiving).
• Working with both External/Internal Auditors and Internal Control teams to ensure the successful completion of regular system security audits, finance audits, ad-hoc audits and process reviews.
• Participation in Finance Monthly Sprint to deliver system enhancements and process improvements
• Actively participate in planning, implementation and tracking of specific short, mid and long-term projects
• Gather requirements for changes to the application, business processes and policies.
• Engage with the business to develop and validate solutions that meet their requirements.
• Perform functional testing.
• Recommend system improvements to leverage Oracle applications functionality for the Finance Team.
• Creating and maintaining systems and process documentation
• Providing end-user training where required

Experience and Qualifications

• 3 years' experience with Oracle eBusiness Suite or Oracle Cloud.
• Finance or Accounting qualification
• Oracle eBusiness Suite r12.x is desirable
• Experience in functional analysis in at least 3 modules including GL, FA, AR, CM and AP
• Strong customer service focus and ability to quickly establish good working relationships with end users
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Logical and methodical approach to problem solving
• Enthusiasm and willingness to broaden knowledge of Finance Systems, in particular Oracle eBusiness Suite
