Technical Assistant

We have the privilege of working with an established and ever-expanding Fresh Produce Group, who's portfolio focuses on the import, ripening and distribution of Fresh Produce. We currently offer a fantastic opportunity for a Technical Compliance Assistant to work within the Groups Fruit division, joining the dedicated Technical team.

The successful individual working as Technical Assistant will be Spanish speaking and will become an integral member of the technical compliance team, taking responsibility for successful supplier compliance & due diligence.
Responsibilities include;
Liaising with Fresh Produce Suppliers to gain relevant information to verify and complete required documentation
Data gathering, through supplier contact and relationship building
Meeting Customer requirements, with contact as required
Documentation generation, with crucial attention to detail

We require;

Experience in a Technical Compliance position would be highly advantageous

The ability to work accurately and with attention to detail being paramount

Exposure to the Fresh Produce sector, with Fruit categories beneficial

Ability to communicate confidently at all levels, with professionalism

Exposure to SEDEX, SMETA, TMPS, TPPS & TFMS; advantage

Exposure to Food Connected would be ideal

Fluent Spanish language; essential

Salary; GBP28-35k - depending on experience
Location; East of England / Bedfordshire
