A fantastic opportunity has arisen for one of our clients who are masters of furniture cabinetry interiors makers. My client design, manufacture and install bespoke interiors for the high-end residential market. They work with architects, interior designers, project managers, quantity surveyors and private clients who demand the highest quality and specification. Their product range include bathrooms, dressing rooms, kitchens, studies & libraries, and wine cellars.
They concentrate on delivering the highest quality finished products to their clients. Due to continued expansion, they are now looking to add to their team with a Technical Designer from a furniture or cabinetry background. The ideal candidate would be proficient in AutoCAD, Solidworks or Autodesk Inventor modelling.
Responsibility & Duties
* Designing 3D model and clear drawings for manufacture
* Listing necessary complements for the furniture production
* Checking the production is going well and keeping clients updated
* Ensuring installed furniture is exactly as intended
* Take project from concept to completion
Experience & Qualification
* Ability to read and work from technical drawings
* Proven experience in AutoCAD software essential
* Proven experience in 3D CAD software (preferably Autodesk Inventor but also Solidworks)
* Background in Woodwork, cabinetry, or furniture design desirable but not essential
* Excellent communication skills and professionalism working within a team
* An eye for detail and high standards of workmanship
* Enthusiastic and hard working
* Ambitious and desire to succeed
* Portfolio available
