A leading food manufacturer is looking for flexible Production Operatives to work on a production line in its modern, clean site based in Crumlin, Gwent.
The contract is on-going with temp to perm opportunities .
The hourly rate depends on what hours and days you work.
We are looking to recruit for both shifts. These may rotate depending on requirement.
SHIFT C: Weekday nights 10pm - 6am
Shift D: Saturday and Sunday only plus approx. one Friday per month 6am-6pm
Shift E: Saturday and Sunday only plus approx. one Friday per month-hours are 6pm-6am
Pay range for those is from GBP11.31-GBP13.20 per hour
There may also be additional shifts available during the week at different rates.
Candidates may be required to attend some training throughout the week.
The ideal candidate for this role will have some experience in a Manufacturing/Production role, preferably within the food industry, and a good standard of written and communicative English. However training will be given.
Your main duties will include:
Running machinery/equipment to meet targets
Quality checking the product
Collecting data from the line and recording it accurately
Ensuring the production area meets strict hygiene standards
Packaging the product
Acting safely and within the site rules at all timesYou should be flexible, quality conscious, and have the ability to problem solve. You will be able to communicate with others effectively and work well within a team.
Annual leave entitlement of 28 days a year pro-rota for the first 12 weeks, and 33 days per annum thereafter (including bank holidays). Free parking.
