Design Technology Teacher required to join a team of committed staff in the Wigan area. September 2022 start required and will continue to July 2023.

The ideal Design Technology Teacher will be keen and passionate, have strong behaviour management, willing to work effectively as part of a team and can motivate and support others. As the Design Technology Teacher, you will be encouraged to develop your skills in a well-resourced, supportive environment. It is important that the Design Technology Teacher has high expectations of pupil's achievement and a strong commitment to raising standards.

About the school

A large inclusive popular school in the Leigh area are looking for a quality Teacher of Design Technology to deliver inspiring lessons for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 or Key Stage 5. This role will involve teaching Food Technology however, experience is desirable but not essential in the area.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Teacher of Design Technology you will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have some knowledge or previous experience of Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
Be adaptable and flexible
Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
