GBP10.31 to GBP11.00 per hour
Our client is looking for a number of experienced Business Support Officers across many of their departments.
If you are an experienced Business Support Officer with experience of working in a local authority or public sector setting then your application would be most welcome.
Post 1.Business Support Officer GBP10.31 per hour
To provide specific administrative support in the divisional office, deputising for other Safeguarding Business Support Assistants as required.
Post 2. Business Support Officer PART TIME 18 hours GBP10.31 per hour
To provide business support to the Penge & Beckenham Locality Team.
Post 3.
Administrator - GBP11.00 per hour
To provide general clerical support to the Compliance & Strategy Team.
Post 4. Business Support Officer GBP11.00 per hour
Business support to the Central Placement Team.
1. To co-ordinate appointments, attend and minute funding and service panels. Ensuring that all funding approvals remain current.
2. To receive referrals and paperwork for panels, ensuring that these are copied and circulated to panel members in line with the Terms of Reference for each panel.
3. To ensure the completion of all paperwork and actions from panel decisions are disseminated to responsible officers in a timely, professional, efficient and positive manner. To follow through on any actions required, e.g. notifications to other boroughs when children are placed.
4. To liaise with Finance section ensuring all relevant information is provided to enable contracts to be issued and payments made.
5. To issue contract renewal letters to external providers of children s Fostering and Residential placements in response to Funding Panel decisions.
6. To be responsible for updating the Liquid Logic database with placement Service Agreements.
7. To manage the "One Stop Shop" access points (telephone and email) for all foster payment queries recording all enquiries and disseminating to necessary staff /teams for a response. To monitor completion of any follow up action.
8. To obtain 6 monthly review papers from care co-ordinators (Oxleas) in a timely manner.
9. To maintain Team Bromley and any other computerised or manual systems required with details of services commissioned and providers to ensure accurate financial and care records are held by the Authority.
10. To participate in a rota of panel support with other panel administrators, covering where necessary for sickness and annual leave.
Specifically:
To produce accurate client files for solicitors, Subject Access Requests and other legal purposes, with an emphasis on accuracy, by extracting data from electronic systems.
To be able to redact sensitive information in files, with an emphasis on accuracy.
To maintain accurate electronic records, using excel and word and other IT systems, ensuring accurate recording of all client contact and departmental work.
To act as the first point of contact for email and phone callers to the team, operating with a sharp customer service focus to provide acknowledgements, and general advice on complaints and reviews, seeking information from elsewhere to respond.
