Here at Halmer Recruit we are currently recruiting for a Sewing Machinist to join our busy client based in Aldershot.
For the right candidate this role will be a temp to perm role.
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes...
* Some Sewing Experience is preferred but not essential as full training is given.
* Have great hand eye coordination.
* Be a quick learner.
* Someone who's able to work within a busy environment & towards targets.
* Be someone who's happy to work within a factory/warehouse environment.
* Previous warehouse or factory experience would be helpful but not essential.
* Be someone who's happy to spend their working day either on their feet all day & equally happy to be sat at a machine all day.
* Be able to start asap.
The role consists off..
* Sewing fabrics together according to clients diagrams/specification. (full training given)
* Cutting fabrics to size & pinning them for sewing.
* Working within a busy sewing machine room of a factory.
* Opportunities for growth within the business.
Hours, Days & Pay...
* Monday to Friday
* 08:00am until 17:00pm
* 2x 15 mins break (one morning & one afternoon) & 1x 30 min lunch break
* Over time/ extra hours offered during peak business times.
* Weekly pay whilst a temp candidate
* GBP9.50 + Holiday pay = GBP10.69 per hour (Salary to be agreed on once asked to be a perm member of staff.)
