Are you currently working in the Power Generation, Chemical Production or similar Engineering Manufacturing sectors? Are you a qualified Biochemical/Chemical or Process Engineer, Chartered or keen to work towards this?
With innovation and new technology, we can create a greener future. But we can't do it alone - which is why we need your help. Be part of a team that's building new solutions for our planet.
What will you be doing?
The more efficiently our sites work, the better they are for the environment, as well as our business. Whether a facility is creating compost from waste or generating energy from landfill, you'll provide the technical support to ensure it's working at maximum capability. You'll tackle operations, maintenance and improvements, supporting the Plant Manager, Operations Manager and the plant's technical team. You'll also make sure we're working to the highest industry standards and help with detailed process analysis to identify where changes need to be made.
What will you need, what can you gain?
Safety and best practice are priorities for us. So we need a Chartered Engineer (or someone working towards this) with the confidence and knowledge to uphold both. To make the grade, you must have worked in a process, power or heavy engineering industry before and dealt with environmental legislation and management systems. You should also have a relevant degree or higher qualification in Engineering or a Management discipline plus experience of project management.
