We are currently looking for a Product Analyst to join our client s Data and Information Services team.
This person will work within the IT teams, acting as a conduit between Data & Information and the Business Product Managers. They will facilitate the design & development of market driven DIS products through the furnishing of business/market requirements and the development of requirement specifications.
Key skills
Understanding of BI tools
Relational databases experience desirable
Experience with the Microsoft SQL BI stack (SSRS, SSAS) is desirable
Experience working with MS SQL Server ideally SQL Server 2017+
PowerBI desirable
Accuracy and attention to detail is key
Specific tasks
Perform necessary product analysis and business requirements gathering
Prepare technical requirement documentation
Optimise workflows and reusable components to implement specified business requirements
Audit control requirements and provide support within the Data and Information Services team to ensure Strict compliance to the security procedures. SharePoint configurations and User privileges
Operating to best practice to support the information protection ISO 27001 standards.
The job demands that you are logical, methodical and have problem solving abilities. Being proactive and self-motivated you will be able to able to work to strict deadlines.
You must be able to work well under pressure and respond quickly to requests for information. Good team working and communication skills are essential as well as the ability to be able to cooperate with different departments across the organisation.
To GBP45,000 + benefits - home based although you will be required to attend the offices in Burton on Trent a minimum of twice per month.
