Reporting Analyst GBP35,000 to GBP50,000
Permanent Role
Shropshire
This is an exciting new role working for a large corporate organisation by supporting the team by developing ad hoc queries and moderate to complex Access database solutions to analyse data and generate reporting.
Main Duties:
• Develop databases, applications and/or automate processes using available system software and tools such as Microsoft Access, Teradata, Maintenance Systems and Excel Macros.
• Recommend and develop ways to improve efficiencies for reviewing daily/monthly reporting processes.
• Assist in developing and updating statistical reporting of department's key performance indicators.
• Continuous communication with key stakeholders on issues and opportunities affecting operations.
• Must have strong organisational & planning skills with the ability to think independently.
• Implement task automation and process improvements; recommend enhancements that result in increased quality and efficiencies. Extensive experience of data analytics and analytical techniques, preferably including the use of Power BI.
• Can demonstrate a track record of developing data models and analysis to support business goals.
• Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into a conceptual analytical and technical architecture.
• Experience using data mining and analytical tools to extract, analyse and manipulate data.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead presentations to senior management.
• Bachelor's degree required; Accounting, Finance preferred.
• Advanced working knowledge in Excel required.
The following skills/competencies would be advantageous but not essential:
• Power BI Data Modelling.
• Experience with Odyssey, RFS and PeopleSoft.
Mainly office based but hybrid / WFH an option, with great training and benefits package.
Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week
