Due to continued expansion, they are looking to further increase their team and are looking to recruit an experienced and self-motivated developer to join their successful IT Team at our office in Grimsby.

Our client is one of the UK's foremost specialist motor finance providers, with a successful proven track record of over 20 years.

We continue to innovate and invest strongly in our IT to ensure we can stay ahead in a competitive market space.

Desired Skills

Core systems are developed in-house using VB6 and .Net languages. They also develop and maintain web platforms. As well as developing new systems with the assistance of new technologies you will need to continue the development and improvement of our legacy systems.

To maintain and develop our long-standing in-house products the ideal candidate will have some knowledge or the eagerness to expand their knowledge to the following languages:

* Visual Basic 6

* VB.Net

* C#.Net

* ASP

* HTML

* Javascript

* T-SQL

Responsibilities

* Develop in-house CRM desktop & web applications

* Design, develop, test and release new front and back end systems

* Diagnose reported issues concerning our existing CRM

* Diagnose and resolve second line support tickets

* Troubleshoot remote and on-site issues through diagnostic techniques

* Work closely with First Line Support and Second Line Software Engineers

* Assist QA and be part of IT systems and Data Governance

What we are looking for

* Experience with programming languages

* Work as part of a team

* Some experience in an IT Support role

* Knowledge of Windows 10, Microsoft Office, and Windows Server
