**The advertised salary is based on a full-time contract in which you are expected to work every other weekend. Home From Home Care has implemented a GBP1 per hour pay increase when working between 22:00pm Friday to 7:00am Monday**
* GBP100 on completion of probation

About you

About the role
As a Support Worker you'll work as part of our ONE TEAM to deliver exceptional care and support to the individuals living within the homes. A large part of your role is to help individuals gain new life skills, connect with their communities, and provide outcomes to help them to live an 'ordinary' life. As part of 'Project Un-lock it' we are focussing on increasing activities for the Individuals We Support in their wider communities. Therefore we are looking for staff members that want to be out every day, engaging in different, exciting and fun activities and encouraging the Individuals We Support to try new things.
CAREER PROGRESSION -. Our mentoring scheme gives you skills and knowledge to progress into senior roles FAST, with ongoing training furthering your development. The sky is the limit. You'll meet great people and learn new things as part of a diverse team where everyone is welcome.
During the 12 month period between 1st December 2018 and 1st December 2019, 22% of our entire team progressed into new roles, with a total of 117 secondments. Furthermore, 96% of our current Registered and Assistant Managers have been internally promoted, all of whom joined us as Support Workers.
CAREER STARTING ROLE - As Support Worker we'll mentor you to support individuals with complex needs as part of our ONE TEAM delivering exceptional care in our specialist homes. Every day is different, where exciting and fun activities encourage the individuals to try new things, learn new life skills, connect with their communities, and live an 'ordinary' life. Sometimes, it's about bringing a surprise horse to a birthday party or arranging an inflatable pub (yes, this happened!).
