Due to a recent contract win, a leading facilities maintenance company are looking for Mobile Maintenance Engineer to carry out pre planned and reactive maintenance across the region. You will be required to look after 4 specific sites which are based in Southampton, Croydon, Lakeside and Greenwich
You will be required to work any 5 days in 7 (typically 1 weekend on, 1 weekend off) with Friday/Monday as rest days. Hours are typically 7am to 4pm but on some occasions you may need to work out of hours which will be paid at overtime rates.

To carry out planned maintenance on site - emergency lighting, fire alarm testing, sprinkler testing, PAT testing, electrical fault finding
Mechanical planned maintenance such as air handling units, pumps/motors, water testing
Ensure that reactive tasks throughout the building are completed and be proactive in
highlighting areas where improvements can be made. These reactive calls to also include
fabric related items.
To participate in the on call rota
Ensure that suitable spares are available to carry out both maintenance and reactive works.
To provide parts lists and estimated timescales to carry out remedial works.
Ensure that all relevant paperwork and CAFM updates are completed regarding PPM, reactive
and breakdown works and that it is passed without delay to the contract administrator.Requirements
Experience working in a commercial facilities maintenance environment
NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds qualified - mechanical or electrical
18th edition (if electrical)
Multi skilled experience - must be able to maintain some mechanical equipment
Happy working in a customer facing role
Excellent communication skills
