Software Assurance Lead

Leonardo delivers a wide range of products into complex and challenging scenarios. These products must be safe, secure and reliable.

We are looking for a Software Assurance Lead to work with our teams at all stages of the lifecycle to help achieve this.

You will be influencing systems and software requirements, architectures and designs to ensure an optimal solution to this challenge.

You will be engaging with the customer community to understand product needs to ensure software assurance activities are targeted for maximum effect.

You will be working with the development teams to ensure efficient delivery of activities to support an assurance argument.

Also consider the future, how to deliver safe solutions with AI/ML, Autonomy, Multicore processors in a DEVSECOPS environment
What will a typical week look like?

Engage with customer and project stakeholders to influence system and software level requirements
Collaborate in the architecture process to influence the software solutions that will be developed
Influence the development approach considering design principles, modularity and reuse, best practice, toolchain and much more
Building assurance arguments with project teams
Keep abreast of current and future development in software assurance
Help build a culture of safety and develop others
