CMD Recruitment is working on this collaboration project with an established FE College and HE University

The purpose of this role is to develop and design new higher vocational skills provisions between the FE college and the HE university that will work in harmony like a "plug and socket " to encourage and enable learners from FE courses that are traditionally level 1 to 3 to move more freely onto HE courses at levels 4, 5 and above and to increase the vocational offerings within HE to accommodate this

I am seeking somebody with :

Successful experience in curriculum design
Understanding and experience of blended learning
Online offers such as short courses
Experience in widening participation at both community level and business level, CPD, and consultancy
The role will form part of the External Affairs Unit which functions like a small agency within the University and is responsible for business development, advancement and civic engagement, marketing, and communications, reputation management, and media liaison.

Structured as a matrix, this is a cross-disciplinary, highly integrated team that places a strong emphasis on personal development and purpose.

You will :
Be responsible for leading the development of viable new curriculum proposals across and in-between existing further and higher education provisions, particularly focused on the shared Levels 4 and 5 that can be delivered by both FE and HE establishments

It is envisaged that the areas of growth for the future courses will be around

sustainability
digital skills
web design
health and wellbeing
You will work on a 50/50 basis across the College and the Uni but be employed by the University
