My client in Cambridgeshire, is currently in need of a Electro Mechanical Assembler due to expansion.
Job Objective:
As an Electro-Mechanical Assembler, you are responsible for assembling products to a high-quality standard, by following specific standard operating procedures. You will be assembling many different types of products that make up the motion control portfolio. Our products and individual mechanical components can be very small and therefore require precise and accurate placement, to achieve the desired result. You will be working at an individual workbench, set up with the tools and fixtures along with a PC for you to follow the standard operating procedures on.
Requirements
•Assembly of products to a high-quality standard
•Handling of small mechanical components
•Soldering
•Following onscreen documented Standard Operating Procedures
•Carrying out administrative tasks when required
•Daily tasks to ensure your workstation and surrounding areas are compliant with health and safety procedures
•Electro-Mechanical, Soldering or Assembly experience is desirable
•Experience of working to precise tolerances would be beneficial
•Have a 'can do' attitude and you are flexible to adapt to the needs of your team and our customer base
•Communicate clearly with colleagues and Team Leaders on any production related issues
•Take pride in your work - ensuring that after a training period every product you build is to the required quality standard
•A positive approach to continuous improvement activities
•If you enjoy troubleshooting, finding root causes and solutions for technical problems this is helpful. Experience of metrology techniques, engineering measuring systems and testing mechanical / electronics products would be beneficial, however this can be trained.
Working Hours: Monday-Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm & Friday 7:30am-12:30pm
Working Hours: Monday-Thursday 4:30pm-1:30am & Friday 12:30pm-5:30pm (This shift pattern is also available to work if you prefer it)
