Our client is a leading and prestigious agricultural manufacturing company, due to their continued growth and development they are seeking to employ an IT Support Technician for their Bardney, Lincoln Site to start as soon as possible.

The role requires a self-motivated and enthusiastic team member to support the IT Users and company infrastructure. The objective of the role is to ensure that's users are fully supported and SharePoint becomes a useful tool for the business.

Standard working hours will be:

8.30am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday however, the ability to be flexible to do other shift patterns during peak hours will be required.

Duties will include but not limited to:

To support the IT Users and Infrastructure

Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.

Raising support tickets on behalf of end user.

Providing support, including procedural documentation.

Maintaining helpdesk.

Setting up new user accounts.

Setting up new hardware such as mobile devices, wireless access points, laptops, printers etc.

IT inductions for new staff.

Out of hours support may be required.

Supporting both on site and via remote connection.

Design and develop SharePoint.

Build sites, lists and document libraries.

Working with departments and users to develop SharePoint solutions.

Maintaining permissions.

Take SharePoint to the next level.

Essential requirements for the role:

Excellent desktop support technical skills

Administration of Office 365

Experience of MDM Administration

Good knowledge of SharePoint Administration and development

Networking knowledge

Excellent communication skills

Previous experience of working in an IT Support environment

Organised, ability to work on projects

Experience of working with Windows 10/11

Experience of training users individually and as a group

Desirable

Advanced knowledge of SharePoint Administration and development

Experience of using Intune or similar software

Experience of Meraki or Cisco Systems

Experience of working with virtual servers

Driving licence - as may be required to travel to other sites from time to time
