Integration Solutions Architect

'Future' is the name for the programme that will see Asda create its new operating model, independent from Walmart. Technology will undoubtedly be one of the most ambitious parts of this work - the technology decisions made will underpin the way the entire business will operate in the future.

Your Role

• Work with Project Teams to fully understand Integration requirements
• Choose or create Integration patterns as appropriate based upon project technical requirements
• Work with our Service Providers to fully define and document technical designs enabling build activities to commence
• Assist our Service Provider with build activities, helping to solve technical challenges and removing blockers
• Build and maintain a governance framework that ensures all deliverables will be reliable, secure and fit for purpose
• Build and continually review our Integration development tool chain, maximising automation and efficiency.
• Build and maintain an Integration catalogue, maximising re-use opportunities
• Build and continually review our integration operational monitoring capability, minimising any opportunity for platform downtime or instability

About You

• Strong Solution Architecture background
• Knowledge and experience of Integration techniques (API, Message Bus, Event Driven, Streaming, etc)
• Knowledge and experience of cloud-based Integration Services
• Experience in Solution Design
• Experience of architecture frameworks such as TOGAF
• Experience of Integrating ERP platforms is beneficial

Please note this role has no direct reports, however there could be a possibility to coach or mentor other employees.
