* SUMMARY: * A finance professional with significant commercial acumen, analytical thinking and the ability to challenge the business at all levels*.* This role will involve leading revenue /or cost reporting and forecasting, working closely with operational departments including Project teams, BD, BDO and accounting teams to develop initiatives to drive efficiencies and accelerate revenue recognition or cost savings.

They are responsible for driving forward new systems, processes and reporting to enhance the role of the Operations Finance team and their impact on the wider business and promote accelerated growth.

* RESPONSIBILITIES: *
Tasks may include but are not limited to:

* Responsible for accurately reporting Worldwide revenue and / or costs at department, project, and therapeutic levels by the agreed monthly timelines, explaining variances to budget/forecast
* Partnering with assigned business units to drive financial results
* Responsible for developing and enhancing financial reporting to provide insight to the business for decision making
* Responsible for the revenue and / or cost forecast, this may include the modelling of new awards and change orders, labor forecasting and planning and developing accurate and robust forecasting methodologies
* To support GCD and Operational Finance Team through close collaboration, providing meaningful analysis, investigating queries and driving positive change
* Development of systems and processes across Worldwide to deliver on the above
* To support the annual budgeting process by accurately modeling revenue and / or costs and ensuring forecast fidelity
* Line management of PA's and Snr PA's

* Review of deferred / unbilled to ensure accurate recording of deferred and accrued balances
* Responsible for escalating and resolving financial issues with Senior Leadership Team
* Supports to ensure compliance of appropriate accounting standards and business policies
* Supports both interim and year end audit and ensures audit compliance throughout the year
* Reviews Out of Scope to ensure that company policy is being followed
* Reviews remaining backlog on a monthly basis

* Highly developed influencing skills
* Previous CRO experience preferable
* Good understanding of Project lifecycles
* Ability to challenge at the highest levels of the organization
* Able to develop plans to deliver initiatives within the business

*REQUIREMENTS:*

* Bachelor degree or equivalent ideally with an accounting qualification
* 8 years of Finance experience
* Experience of financial accounting and the use of accounting systems
* Experience of process improvement specifically driving efficiency gains within the business.
* Demonstrable experience of implementing change initiatives within a growing organization
* Demonstrable proficiency of financial trend analysis
* Managerial experience
