Engineering Stores Coordinator

Based: Littleborough, United Kingdom FTC: 12 months

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Actioning and overseeing of end-to-end purchasing for the Engineering department, including identifying stock to be ordered
• Raising Purchase Orders
• Compilation of yearly departmental budget and regular forecasting
• Close collaboration with the financial department to ensure budget is met and adherence to legal and company financial controls
• Confirming receipt of goods/services as well as monitoring invoicing and monthly account reconciliation
• Liaise with stores team, maintain stock level, provide reporting and drive improvements

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Good level of Excel skills required
• Experience of working in a manufacturing environment
• Some SAP experience preferred
• Good organisational skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Basic IT skills
• Numerate, with the ability to analyse and present accurate basic statistical data
• Finance skills/knowledge would be a distinct advantage
