Project Manager Local Construction Consultancy

Your new companyHays are working in partnership with a local multidisciplinary construction consultancy to recruit for a Project Manager. This practice operates across Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying and CDM Co-ordination. Due to the expansion of their workload, a position for a Project Manager has become available on a permanent basis. Your new roleReporting to the Project Management Partner, you will lead a mix of projects across the public and private sectors. You will assist in the delivery of project management commissions, taking responsibility for their successful delivery whilst managing tender documents, appraisals and negotiationsWhat you'll need to succeedYou should have a construction related degree, a minimum of 4 years relevant work experience and preferably chartered / qualified with ICE, APM, RICS. You must have a good understanding of NEC and JCT contracts and be familiar and have experience of both pre and post contract roles. You will be expected to be computer literate and highly competent in the use of Microsoft Excel and contract management software.
