Security Guard looking for a role with no night shifts?

Look no further!

As one of our Security Officers you'll play a key role to protect company's property and colleagues by maintaining a safe and secure environment for anyone that visits our distribution centre in Crick, Northamptonshire. You're our first responder when emergency situations arise!

Being one of the first points of contacts for all visitors you'll provide an excellent front of house service to monitor and control access at building/site entrance/exit points.

Other duties our Security Officers carry out would be:

• Monitoring and controlling CCTV cameras and recording systems
• Responsible for the opening and securing of site
• At times be the Key holder/on call duties where required
• Ensuring all alarms are working and set accordingly
• Conducting searches of personnel, bags and vehicles to ensure site safety at all times
• CCTV reviewing to support Investigations of store discrepancies
• Investigating incidents of internal/external theft
• Liaising with the emergency services, police, ambulance and fire service to resolve issues and maintain security and service
• Collecting statements and evidence in reported allegations
• Patrol randomly or regularly building and perimeter to prevent and detect signs of intrusion, restricted areas are secure, parking violations etc
• Out of hours supervision and incident control

What we are looking for:

• Be of smart personal presentation
• A good communicator at all levels and has a confident challenging disposition
• Is reliable and acts with integrity at all times
• Proactive and results driven, able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team
• Experience using Microsoft Office products will be required (Word, Excel etc.)

You'll work a mix of a 4 and 5 day week across early and late shifts but NO NIGHT shifts

Flexibility is required in respect of working hours, duties and at times, working additional shifts. They will also need to be available for on-call duties ie emergencies, security incidents or colleague no shows.
