scope of the role
In charge of procurement for all products & packaging.
Lead pricing and contract negotiations.
Build strong relationships with current and prospective suppliers, leading cross-functional supplier reviews.
Maintain our COGS model and keep the finance and supply chain teams up to date with changes to supplier pricing.
Carry out regular and detailed analysis of our COGS to identify and communicate risks & opportunities. In charge of monthly full-year COGS forecast.
Lead cross-functional cost-engineering reviews ensuring identified opportunities are promptly implemented.
Support the NPD team in sourcing ingredients and components required for their innovation pipeline, as well as accurately costing NPD.
Support and input into our sourcing strategies.

itsu [grocery] is looking for a Procurement Manager to join our Supply Chain team. The successful candidate will be our first Procurement Manager and will therefore have the chance to create our procurement strategy from scratch. They will work cross-functionally to drive supplier relationships, help us source new products and proactively manage cost, fuelling our continued growth.

you:

Strong, demonstrable procurement skills with the ability to lead negotiations, building solid internal and external relationships with key stakeholders.
Excellent commercial acumen with good analytical skills.
Capable of proactively creating a holistic procurement strategy.
Strong communication skills able to adapt to our international supplier base.
Driven and ambitious, looking to work within a rapidly growing business that is constantly evolving.
A flexible 'hands on' approach.
At least 4 years FMCG procurement experience, with knowledge of sourcing from Asia preferred.
Degree educated.
