- Continuously improving efficiency and effectiveness of tasks within the logistics area of the business and working towards achieving strategic objectives.
- Generate process improvement options relevant to department business plans and budget targets.
- Designing and implementing process designs and improvements.
- Utilise your logistics knowledge during daily operations through understanding process and system tools in addition to understanding how the business works and how your role impacts the business.
- Responding to production issues and review the logistics process when necessary.
- Utilising your problem solving skills through problem identification, root cause analysis and countermeasure identification to rectify any production issues.
- Previous experience working within a logistics department within a manufacturing environment.
- Have a broad understanding of parts flow, logistics, delivery system and manufacturing flow.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP or similar software.
- Project management knowledge.
- Good presentation skills.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
