Are you a Payroll Admin or Payroll Advisor, looking to gain more experience? This could be the position for you!
This Local Authority is looking for a full-time, Payroll Advisor (temporary role, 6 months) to provide, maintain and continually develop an efficient and effective payroll service to the Council ensuring the timely and accurate payment of all remuneration to employees, Councillors and workers.
You'll also maintain the efficient and cost effective processing of salaries, pensions and allowances including payment of statutory and other deductions to appropriate bodies.
Your main responsibilities will include maintaining up-to-date and accurate record systems through the use and development of Resourcelink and any other payroll/HR systems, providing statistical returns to external agencies as required including the provision of year end information to HMRC.
As a Payroll Advisor, you'll also coach, where necessary, and support and guide service users in the use of al HRIT systems regarding queries and general navigation and security of the individual systems.
