Our unique low temperature, residue-free hydrogen peroxide vaporisation (HPV) technology has been proven to provide rapid, repeatable, safe and reliable eradication of microbiological pathogens from rooms and other interior spaces.
Pod Technician
As part of this, we design, supply and install bespoke patient segregation systems (the Pod) to allow patients to be safely treated with a significantly lower risk of infection. This role will be focused on this part of the business.
Overview of the role Pod Technician
A brand new role, in Andover Hampshire, has arisen for an individual to participate in the manufacture, installation, and servicing of the UK based Pod product. Reporting directly to the Pod manager, this individual will be responsible for assembly and site installation of Pods. This will involve working closely with our existing team and with our customers to meet their schedules.
On site installation duties will include the loading and unloading, installation and ultimately final customer handover.
A vital aspect to the role is providing the highest level of customer support and service. This entails servicing and maintaining the existing install base.
Responsibilities- Pod Technician
Day-to-day duties typically include:
Maintaining a safe working environment within the Pod build area
Meeting tight deadlines set by the Pod manager
Supporting the production team with the manufacture and assembly of the standard sub-assemblies
Actively participating in test build operations ahead of customer site installation
Arranging and completing Pod servicing with our customers
Working with customers to ensure a high level of customer service and maintenance
Working with the inside sales professionals to establish contacts and follow up leads
Attending client meetings as required
Supporting colleagues in sales activities and design tasks
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have excellent practical skills and demonstrate an aptitude for problem solving. Previous experience in presenting/interaction with customers will be advantageous.
Good time management and a high attention to detail are essential to ensure products are completed on time and to the high standards set by the Pod team.
Requirements
• Capable of manually handling equipment and materials using safe lifting techniques
• Safe use of handheld power tools and working on stepladders
• Scheduled working away from home up to two weeks in four
• Occasionally working overseas
• Being able and empathetic to working on site in a hospital environment
• Full UK driving licence
• Long Term Goals
• Build good relationships with on-site customers
• Lead and run all dry build and installation procedures
