Our renewable energy client, who are going through a continued period of growth (having doubled their turnover year on year since starting!), is looking for an experienced AutoCad 2D Technician. Our client is very open-minded to previous industries and level of experience, as long as you have worked with 2D Cad before and have the right attitude and commitment.

The successful CAD Technician will need to be confident liaising with the technical departments of their clients but will have the support of a Manager who will handle any difficult customer conversations or situations. Any CAD Technician's who have previous experience with the Estimating part of the process would be of particular interest, however this is not essential, as our client is able to offer this as a separate role.

The key responsibilities for this CAD Technician role include but are not limited to:

• Working closely with the CAD / Design Manager to ensure all work is completed in a timely manner
• Creating 2D CAD drawings of the suggested layouts for the clients
• Ensuring drawings meet company / client standards
• Receiving detailed energy report assessments from the clients and sales team and finding the key information within these documents to be able to create the CAD drawings

The successful CAD Technician will have / be:

• Previous 2D CAD experience
• Excellent attention to detail
• A committed, hardworking, self-motivated attitude
